The book has been created by former Chairman, Ben Martin along with his wife and the clubs welfare officer, Jackie to help showcase some of the highlights from our 125 year history including up to the present day.

“2024 marks Rusthall FC’s 125th Anniversary since its formation in 1899 and the club are marking this momentous occasion with the publication of a history looking back across three centuries of football at Rusthall.

From the difficult days of travelling to games by horse and cart, the disruption of two world wars and more recently Covid, the book covers many of the milestones in the club’s long history. The pictures of the players and teams and insightful match reports recorded over the years look not much different to those of today apart from the change in fashions and language. One thing is clear, the enthusiasm for football back then was no different to today and the book plots the growth of this great community club from all those years ago to the successful and respected club it is today.”

You can pre-order your copy ahead of the launch on Saturday 16th November and collect it on the evening, you or one of your ancestors may well be mentioned or pictured inside! The book is priced at £25.

Everyone is welcome to attend the book launch which takes place after our home game against Lydd Town. We will be providing nibbles and the bars at The Royal Wells will be open for you to enjoy throughout the evening.
