CALLUM TAYLOR DEPARTS FOR OPPORTUNITY AT HIGHER LEVEL

CALLUM TAYLOR DEPARTS FOR OPPORTUNITY AT HIGHER LEVEL

Club Admin18 Jun 2024 - 15:59

We can confirm that Callum Taylor will depart Rusthall ahead of the season to explore an opportunity at a higher level.

We are disappointed to inform you that our popular defender and captain will leave the club this summer, despite his initial intention to stay with us for 2024/25.

Callum has an opportunity to play at a higher level and leaves Rusthall with the best wishes of everyone at the club, including Jimmy Anderson - someone that would always support upward progression for his players.

Callum leaves with this message to our supporters and all those that have got to know him at the club;

I want to start by saying a massive thank you to you all for your support over these last few years. I’ve felt like part of your family, you’ve backed me through injury and we’ve enjoyed goals, derby wins together and the rollercoaster that football provides.

My decision to leave Rusthall has been a really difficult decision to make and certainly one that I’ve not taken lightly. But, I have an opportunity to go and play at a higher level in the pyramid and I felt that it’s an opportunity I have to take. I hope you can all understand.

I will miss this brilliant club, the people that run it and all you amazing supporters.

I wish Jim and the boys all the very best and hope that they achieve great things for you all, in particular during this 125th anniversary year of this great club.

See you soon, Rustics

CT

We would like to wish Callum every success at his new club, higher up the pyramid, and thank him for his services since returning to us in September 2021.
