Barry Marchant passed away back in 2020 during the pandemic whilst many of us were faced with the challenges of government restrictions on gatherings which made it impossible until now for Barry’s family to host some kind of tribute in his name.

Barry, a former Rustic forward who scored over 50 goals in two seasons, was the last player to score more than 30 goals in one season for Rusthall.

Barry’s family thought that it was only right to acknowledge the efforts of our 2022/23 season and award the cup to our top scorer Louie.

A small presentation followed our final game with a fitting tribute made by our club president to the late great which followed with Barry’s son, Ben and daughter, Tammy presenting Louie with The Barry Marchant Memorial Cup.
